The South Tyrolean Pinot Blanc "PYRAMIDIS" comes from the steep terraces of St. Magdalener, the quaint wine village idyllically located above Bolzano. There, heat-retaining soils of glacial moraine debris and weathered porphyry can be found. Typical of these hillside sites, however, are low crops. This requires careful selection and extremely gentle processing of the grapes. After fermentation, about 30% of the wine matures for several months in used barriques. Only 2000 bottles of this year were bottled!
